This Little Piggy is a coiled hydria pot. It's shape suggest that it is meant for storing water.
The decorations on the pot were made using a small stamp to create dents that were painted white.
On the handle of the pot there is a sculptured pig's head with an apple in his mouth, a common way to serve a whole roasted pig.
Inside the pot there is a hidden message that can be seen with the aid of a flashlight, which reads '4 million pigs are killed for food everyday'.
